What can be seen in the sky?

As some of you might know, I have a slight obsession with sunrises and sunsets. There is something special about a sunrise and a sunset. The sunrise means the start of a new day. Letting go of the old.. the past.. and starting fresh. Its so refreshing to wake up and see what God painted in the sky. It is a constant reminder that it’s never to late to start over.

I took this picture of the sunrise, coming over I-10 bridge in Lake Charles, Louisiana. If you look at the picture you can see the dark clouds rolling away to expose the bright beautiful clouds. As the sun rises every day so does Gods Glory, it actually never goes away because the moon always reflects the sunlight. Just like the sun, Gods Glory and love for us is overwhelming. We need it to survive and only through God can we actually survive. Just as we need the sun to survive here on earth.

Sunsets. Just like the sunrises, the sunsets are a constant reminder that, that day is finished. As the sun goes down, we have hope for a new day. I have taken alot of sunrises and sunset pictures and I can honestly say that I have never seen the same sunset. The colors are different, the clouds are different… we are all different. But one thing never changes and that’s God’s love for us.

When we see the sunrises and sunsets, remember Gods Glory, remember His loves for us. He paints the skies for us daily.. twice a day.

Psalms 19:1

A psalm of David. The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.

Here are some of my pictures that I took and are my favorites:
